I was out working in the yard, and I wanted to get a shot of the front yard with all the different things in bloom. There is some dianthus, purple and white salvia, catmint, and some white alliums starting to bloom. The coralbells, barberry, purple sedums and the creeping jenny also added some nice color to the yard.

I just stumbled across your blog and I had to tell you and your wife how beautiful your yard is becoming. I too am a beginner gardener, and I'm learning it takes patience. Now that Spring has arrived, I'm happy to be planting again! I'm an organized person, so I'm finding it a challenge to find the best spots for my plants to grow! No luck on hydrangeas yet!
