More pics of the yard.

I was out working in the yard, and I wanted to get a shot of the front yard with all the different things in bloom. There is some dianthus, purple and white salvia, catmint, and some white alliums starting to bloom. The coralbells, barberry, purple sedums and the creeping jenny also added some nice color to the yard.

House painting comes to a screeching halt

Last week I was all excited because we had finally planned on getting the house painted. Right now it is white with pink and purple trim, needless to say, this is long overdue. Well, we had decided on some colors and a house painter and thought we would have a beautifully painted house by the end of this week. Fast forward a few days and things have completely changed. Unfortunately the painter we hired was not doing the quality of work that I had hoped for and so we quickly stopped the work and decided it would be best to part ways after only 1 half day of work. Thankfully my neighbor was looking out for my best interest and pointed out some things that threw up some red flags right away. We are on hold now until we can find someone to do the work correctly.

A few more spring time pics

Here are a few more pics of the yard. As you can see our dog "Gidget" is out enjoying it with me. Since I took these pictures, more things have started to bloom. I will get some pictures of those and get those up as well.

Whats in the garden volume 1

With the cooler spring and regular rains that we have been having, the garden has really taken off this year. Everything is so much fuller and the garden is really starting to take shape. I thought I would post some pics of what has been blooming so far this spring.

Spring is here! And so am I

I have neglected my blog for the last time, I promise. For you who have told me they are looking for more entries and pics, they are on the way. For any newcomers that find this blog this spring, welcome, and I hope you return often to catch my updates.
